3 reasons why your dog needs a comfier alternative to their collar

Traditional dog collars just aren’t doing it for me.

Stiff, bulky and restrictive, dog collars aren’t a good match for my old pug. So I set out to find a way she could wear an ID tag all day and night, without the uncomfortable strap around her neck. I had no luck. So I designed my own solution…

Soft dog collars, or ‘dog neckties’ have kept my dog both ID protected and happy! She barely knows it’s there.

Here are the 3 reasons why your dog needs a comfier alternative:

1 . Sensitive fur

Traditional dog collars tend to be hard and unrelenting. So unrelenting, they actually cause my dog’s fur to rub away. I hadn’t considered how sensitive her neck could be.

Dog neckties are made from very soft velour. With no stiff webbing core to cause irritation, the neckties are much more gentle against fur.

2 . Sleep

Who could take a nap with a chunky choker upon their neck?!

This soft velour collar offers a small amount of stretch, which allows easy movement and supreme nap conditions.

3 . Bulk

Dogs that once complained and fussed with the weight of a traditional dog collar around their neck, barely notice a dog necktie. The combination of soft fabric, a slight stretch and a weightless feel is the ideal formula for a happy dog.

If I’ve managed to convince you to move away from the overwhelm of a big traditional collar, there are soooo many fun dog necktie designs to choose from.
